The The First World War Roll of Honour of the Scout Heritage Collection lists a
Captain Frederick Cecil Longden - Honorary County Secretary and County Commissioner Sheffield Association.
Extensive research has failed to connect him to Sheffield or any of the three Yorkshire Ridings/Counties.
Available evidence suggests that he held these positions with Durham Scouts, but this is, so far, unconfirmed
